Top Distributor Helps Boost Local Economy Proforma Receives 2009 Crain’s Leading EDGE Award

CLEVELAND (June 1, 2009) – Proforma continues to be recognized for leading economic growth in Northeast Ohio, as it has received a 2009 Crain’s Leading EDGE Award for the second year. The third annual EDGE Award is presented by the Entrepreneurs EDGE (Economic Development through Growth and Entrepreneurship) to businesses that make significant contributions to the region’s economy through their combined earnings and compensation to local employees.
In addition to Proforma, only 94 other businesses in Northeast Ohio received this honor. Together, they poured $1.6 billion into the local economy in 2008. Along with stimulating the economy, 83 of these businesses created more than 1,800 new jobs in the past two years.
